Post-Stroke Dysphagia Treated by ZHANG Weihua with'Four-Step Acupuncture Method of Opening Orifice and Benefiting Pharynx'
This study summarized the clinical experience of Professor ZHANG Weihua in treating post-stroke dysphagia with'four-step acupuncture method of opening orifices and benefiting pharynx'.The'four-step acupuncture method of opening orifices and benefiting pharynx'is the combination of scalp acupuncture treatment and local acupoints selection needling.Aiming at the clinical characteristics of post-stroke dysphagia,it integrates modern anatomical theory and meridian theory,takes the scalp affected areas,pharynx and neck area and sublingual collaterals as the treatment sites,and applies special techniques,including connecting scalp needling,bird pecking needling,black dragon searching for pearls needling and blood letting puncture,to achieve the effects of refreshing brain and opening orifices,as well as dredging gates and benefiting pharynx.Good clinical effects have been achieved repeatedly.
