Research Progress of Acupuncture Intervening MIRI Based on PI3K/Akt Signaling Pathway
In recent years, the efficacy of acupuncture in treating myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury(MIRI)has been widely recognized.Phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/Akt)signaling pathway involves in the processes of cell growth, metabolism, proliferation and differentiation, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of MIRI.A large number of studies have shown that acupuncture can protect damaged myocardium through regulating PI3K/Akt pathway, alleviating inflammatory responses and inhibiting apoptosis. This study explored the protective mechanism of PI3K/Akt signaling pathway on MIRI and the regulatory effect of acupuncture, which provides experimental basis for clinical treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
