Research Progress on Acupoints Selection Principles and Action Mechanisms of Acupuncture in Treatment of Sciatica
Sciatica is a common clinical condition.Studies have shown that acupuncture can significantly relieve patients'sciatica and improve their quality of life.From the perspective of clinical research,this study explained the basic principles of selecting acupuncture points for sciatica in traditional Chinese medicine theories and modern medical theories.From the perspective of animal experiments,it summarized the causes of sciatica and the mechanism of acupuncture analgesia.At the same time,insufficiency in current clinical studies and basic researches are discussed as well.This study provided innovative thinking for the objectivization of acupuncture in treatment of sciatica,also provided strong support from basic research to clinical achievement transformation of acupuncture treatment of sciatica.
