Clinical Study of ZHU's Scaple Acupuncture Combined with Thunder-Fire Moxibustion in Treatment of Insomnia due to Liver Stagnation and Spleen Deficiency
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of ZHU's scaple acupuncture combined with thunder-fire moxibustion in treatment of insomnia due to Liver stagnation and Spleen deficiency.Methods:80 patients with insomnia of Liver stagnation and Spleen deficiency were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Xiaoyao San,whereas the treatment group was treated with thunder-fire moxibustion and ZHU's scaple acupunture.The scores of PSQI,SAS,WHOQOL-BREF and TCM symptoms were compared between before and after the treatment in the two groups to assess efficacy.Results:After two courses of treatment,the scores of PSQI,SAS,WHOQOL-BREF and TCM symptoms were improved after the treatment compared with those before the treatment in the two groups(P＜0.05),and the improvements were more significant in the treatment group than those in the control group.The total effective rate was 85.0％(34/40)in the treatment group,which was significantly higher than 65.0％(26/40)in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:ZHU's scaple acupuncture combined with thunder-fire moxibustion has great advantages in improving sleep and life quality,release stress,and alleviate TCM symptoms in treatment of insomnia due to Liver stagnation and Spleen deficiency.
