This study introduced the theoretical basis and clinical experience of Professor SHI Bin in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy with'micro needle unblocking channel therapy'.Professor SHI Bin believes that,as a common and high-risk type of cervical spondylosis,nerve root type cervical spondylosis has the basic pathogenesis of'blocked channel and imbalance of Qi and blood'.Therefore,its treatment is focused on dredging Qi of blocked channel,in order to harmonize Qi and blood,and ensure smooth channel.The'micro needle unblocking channel therapy'possesses the characteristics of selecting acupoints along meridians and flexibly differentiating syndrome.It also characterized by multiple shallow needling,taking pain location as acupoint.The three major therapeutic features of light acupuncture for regulating Qi and the sequence of needling are emphasized to achieve the treatment goals of clearing knots and unblocking collateral,regulating Qi and blood,and supporting right-Qi and eliminating pathogenic factors,which has achieved significant effects in treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
