Rules of Acupoints Selection in Treatment of Optic Neuritis Based on Data Mining
Objective:To explore the rules of acupoints selection and acupoints compatibility in treatment of optic neuritis based on data mining technology. Methods:The clinical literature on acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of optic neuritis collected by Cochrance Library,Embase,Web of Science,Pubmed,CBM,Wanfang Data,CNKI and VIP were searched by computer from the self-built database to September 2023.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a database was established through Excel 2019,the relevant data was imported into IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 and SPSS modeler 18.0,and the analysis of association rules of acupoints and meridian tropism,as well as the clustering analysis were carried out. Results:A total of 173 pieces of effective literature were included, involving 182 acupuncture prescriptions and 129 acupoints, with a total application frequency of 1831 times. The top 10 points of high frequency application included Jingming(BL1),Fengchi(GB20),Qiuhou(EX-HN7),Taiyang(EX-HN5),Cuanzhu(BL2),Hegu(LI4),Chengqi(ST1),Zusanli(ST36),Guangming(GB37)and Sanyinjiao(SP6).The top meridians with the highest frequency of application included Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian,Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian,Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian and Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian. There were 68 specific points were used, and the top 3 categories with the highest frequency of application were the intersection points(518 times),the five-Shu points(240 times)and the original-Yuan points(183 times).Through the analysis of association rules and clustering analysis,11 sets of strong association rules of acupoints,6 sets of high frequency meridians and 3 clusters were obtained.Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for optic neuritis was mainly based on local points selection, paying attention to the compatibility of distal points and local points, and points from the Bladder meridian and the intersection points were most applied. Conclusion:The application of data mining techniques can be utilized to analyze the selection principles of acupoints in treating optic neuritis from various perspectives, thus providing better guidance for clinical practice.
