Exploring Acupuncture Treatment Strategy for Treatment of NSLBP Based on Myofascia Theory and Defensive-Qi Theory
Myofascia theory has become a recent research focus in treatment of musculoskeletal disorder,while the theory of defensive-Qi is an important component of TCM foundation.This study compared the concepts of myofascia and defensive-Qi,explored the differences in their forms,and discussed the similarities between myofascia theory and the theory of defensive-Qi in terms of position structure,function and pathology,emphasizing the holistic view of disease treatment.It elucidated the pathogenesis of non-specific low back pain(NSLBP)and its close relationship with myofascia and defensive-Qi,highlighting the potential therapeutic effects of acupuncture through intervention in myofascial and defensive-Qi for treating NSLBP.This study provided new treatment ideas for acupuncture treatment of NSLBP and better guidance for clinical practice.
