Objective:Alzheimer's disease(AD)is a neurodegenerative disease in the elderly,and its patients are increasing year by year with the increase of elderly people in China.Autophagy lysosome dysfunction is a key factor leading to the development of AD.Acupuncture,as a non-pharmacological treatment,can improve autophagy abnormality and activate lysosome function,thus improving the clearance of abnormal aggregated proteins and damaged organelles,and ameliorating cognitive dysfunction in AD patients.This study described the mechanism of lysosome acidification disorder in the development of AD,with a view to improving the mechanism of AD through the activation and regulation of lysosome acidification by acupuncture,aiming to provide a new strategy for the prevention and treatment of AD,and providing basis for the clinical application of acupuncture in treatment of AD.
