Clinical Study on Yu's Nape Needling Combined with Thumbtack Needling in Treatment of Post-Stroke Dysphagia
Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of Yu's nape needling combined with thumbtack needling in treatment of post-stroke dysphagia.Methods:70 patients with post-stroke dysphagia, who met the inclusion criteria, were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 35 patients in each group. Both groups were intervened with basic treatment;on which basis, the treatment group was treated with Yu's nape needling combined with thumbtack needling, whereas the control group was treated with conventional needling. One case dropped off in the control group during the treatment. The scores of water swallowing test(WST),standard swallowing assessment(SSA),videofluoroscopic swallowing study(VFSS)and swallowing quality of life(SWAL-QOL)were recorded before and after the treatment in the two groups. Results:The scores of WST and SSA were decreased, and the scores of VFSS and SWAL-QOL were increased after the treatment in the two groups(P<0.05);the improvements were more significant in the treatment group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was higher in the treatment group than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yu's nape needling combined with thumbtack needling can improve swallowing dysfunction of the patients with post-stroke dysphagia, its curative effect is better than conventional acupuncture.
