Clinical Study of Yin-Reducing and Yang-Supplementing Acupuncture Combined with Task-Oriented Mirror Therapy in Treatment of Post-Stroke Strephenopodia
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing acupuncture combined with task-oriented mirror therapy(TOMT)in treatment of post-stroke strephenopodia.Methods:81 patients were randomly divided into the mirror group, the ordinary acupuncture group, the Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing acupuncture group, with 27 cases in each group. In the three groups, all patients received routine rehabilitation training and other comprehensive treatments. The mirror group received TOMT treatment;on which basis, the ordinary acupuncture group was also treated with ordinary needling, and the Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing acupuncture group was also treated with Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing needling, once a day,5 times a week, for 6 consecutive weeks. The strephenopodia angle and the scores of FMA,MAS and MBI were observed to evaluate the improvements of strephenopodia, lower limb function and daily living activities. The clinical efficacy was compared among the three groups. Results:The strephenopodia angle and the scores of FMA and MBI were better after the treatment than those before the treatment in the three groups(P<0.01),and the MAS score was better the after treatment than that before the treatment in the Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing acupuncture group(P<0.01).The strephenopodia angle and the scores of FMA,MAS and MBI were better in the Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing acupuncture group than those in the mirror group and the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.05,P<0.01);the strephenopodia angle, the scores of FMA and MBI were better in the ordinary acupuncture group than those in the mirror group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:Yin-reducing and Yang-supplementing acupuncture combined with TOMT has a significant therapeutic effect on post-stroke strephenopodia, which can effectively improve strephenopodia angle, relieve muscle tension of the lower limb ankle plantar flexor group, enhance lower limb motor function, balance coordination function and activity ability of daily living of patients. The therapy is worthy of extensive application and promotion.
