Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a group of comprehensive disorders involving multiple systems and links,with sporadic ovulation,hyperandrogenemia and obesity as its main clinical features,which has seriously affected womens'quality of life and physical and mental health.The PCOS metabolic disorder is an important part of aggravating hyperandrogenemia and obesity,and the efficacy of acupuncture is remarkable in improving PCOS metabolic disorder.Through literature research,it is found that acupuncture may improve the pathological state of Spleen deficiency and water-dampness stagnation,and Kidney deficiency and water flooding through the effect of local acupoints,thus promoting the cellular metabolism of the body,and the action mechanism may be related to influencing IRS-1/PI3K/Akt/GLUT4,hypothalamus NFκB and Toll-like receptor signaling pathway transduction.The study is now elaborated to provide theoretical ideas for the study of the etiology of PCOS.
