Clinical Study of Floating Needling Therapy with Multi-Functional Trocar in Treatment of Cervicogenic Headache Based on'Meridian-Sinew Theory'
Objective:To evaluate clinical efficacy of floating needling therapy with multi-functional trocar in treatment of cervicogenic headache.Methods:64 patients with cervicogenic headache were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 31 patients in each group in the end(each group shedding 1 case). The observation group was treated with floating needling with multi-functional trocar, whereas the control group was treated with conventional needling. Both groups were treated for 7 days. The scores of visual Analog Scale(VAS),Headache Impact Testing scale-6(HIT-6),Neck Disability Index scale(NDI)and the total score of concomitant symptoms scale were observed before and after the treatment in the two groups. The recurrence rate was observed 3 months after the treatment. Results:The scores of VAS,HIT-6,NDI and concomitant symptoms were improved after the treatment compared with those before the treatment in the two groups(P<0.05),and the improvements in the observation group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05);during the 3-month follow-up,the scores of the above scales were improved compared with those after the treatment, and the improvements in the observation group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total clinical efficacy of the observation group was 93.55%(29/31),which was higher than 83.87%(26/31)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of floating needling therapy with multi-functional trocar can effectively improve the symptoms of cervicogenic headache, and the effect is fast and long-lasting,therefore it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
