Resting State functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)serves as an important approach for studying the central functional integration mechanisms of acupuncture.Based on the progress of related research over the past decade, both domestically and internationally, this study analyzes and summarizes the current status of rs-fMRI in the filed of acupuncture brain effect mechanism research. It identifies and extracts the specificity, dynamic nature, and conditional characteristics of acupuncture's brain effects. The study re-examines the prospects and limitations of research on the central mechanisms of acupuncture based on rs-fMRI,provides insights, and outlines future research directions.
