Clinical Study of Du-Moxibusiton Combined with Blade Needling in Treatment of CSA of Phlegm Blocking Meridian Pattern
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Du-moxibustion combined with blade needling in treating cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(CSA)of phlegm blocking meridian pattern.Methods:60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group was treated with Du-moxibustion combined with acupuncture;whereas the observation group was treated with Du-moxibustion combined with blade needling. The scores of ESCV and VAS,the vertebro-basilar artery systolic peak flow(Vs)and vascular pulse index(PI)were recorded before and after the treatment in the two groups. Results:The scores of ESCV and VAS,as well as the values of Vs and PI were significantly improved after the treatment compared with those before the treatment in the two groups(P<0.05,P<0.01);there were statistical differences in the VAS score, the values of Vs and PI between the two groups after the treatment(P<0.05).At the end of the treatment, the total effective rate was both(100%,30/30)in the two groups, but there were statistical differences in the healing cases, remarkably effective cases and effective cases, which were 13 Cases,10 cases and 7 cases in the observation group, and 4 cases,14 cases and 12 cases in the control group,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both groups demonstrated improvement in clinical symptoms related to CSA(phlegm blocking meridian pattern). The observation group exhibited a superior analgesic effect and overall clinical efficacy.
