Research on the Construction of Discipline System,Academic System,and Discourse System for Adult Education in China
Although some progress has been made in the construction of the discipline system,academic system,and discourse system for adult education in China,there is still a lack of comprehensive,systematic,and in-depth research.Currently,the construction of the discipline system has evolved from singular to plural,the academic system has evolved from single to multiple,and the discourse system for adult education in China has emerged from history and practice.While certain progress has been made in the construction of the discipline system,academic system,and discourse system,there are four urgent issues that need to be addressed.These include further clarifying the purpose in terms of construction position,highlighting characteristics in construction methods,focusing on practice in construction forms,and paying attention to the overall level of construction.Based on these issues,the construction of the discipline system,academic system,and discourse system for adult education in China should follow the logical consistency of history,practice,and theory.It should adhere to the logical starting point,follow the rules,grasp the overall situation,and focus on the whole methodology.Specific pathways for construction can be pursued in the following four aspects.First,establishing the overall framework and constructing the three major systems of adult education in China.Second,understanding the laws of the discipline and constructing the discipline system for adult education in China.Third,emphasizing the importance of practice and constructing the academic system for adult education in China.Fourth,based on the Chinese standpoint,constructing the discourse system for adult education in China.
