Path Selection and Learning from Singapore's High-Quality Vocational Education Teachers'Team Building
Building a high-quality vocational education teacher team is not only a necessary step in optimizing the positioning of vocational education types,but also the foundation for the high-quality development of vocational education.Against the backdrop of the formation of specialized vocational schools,the demand for high quality in vocational education development,and the construction of a vocational education system with lifelong education as its core.Singapore has constructed a high-quality vocational education teacher team with dual qualification through various paths,such as using work experience as a prerequisite for teachers'entry into the profession.It has also promoted the professional development of teachers through school-enterprise cooperation,systematic pre-service and in-service teacher training,evaluation concepts and standards that fit the characteristics of vocational education,and promoting the digital transformation of the teacher team.Drawing on the experience of Singapore,China should establish differentiated teacher recruitment standards based on different types of vocational education,improve the collaborative mechanism between schools and enterprises in teacher training.Also,it should refine the continuing education and training system for teachers,establish a scientific and reasonable teacher evaluation system,and take multiple measures to enhance the digital literacy of teachers,in order to build a high-quality vocational education teacher team with Chinese characteristics.
