Research on the Issue of Vocational Education Attractiveness from the Perspective of Cultural Capital
Although the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan has established the status of vocational education,the attractiveness of vocational education in China is still problematic.From a sociological perspective,there is a positive correlation between cultural capital and the attractiveness of vocational education.Its absence will have a significant impact on the attractiveness of vocational education in terms of occupational status,economic income,and personal development.Therefore,enhancing cultural capital is an inherent factor in strengthening the attractiveness of vocational education.As for the issue of vocational education attractiveness,it mainly involves national,school,and societal levels.Therefore,enhancing vocational education's institutional culture,quality culture,service culture,and humanistic culture,among other cultural capitals,through strengthening vocational education regulations and institutional development,deepening vocational school education reform,establishing a sound vocational school service mechanism,and paying attention to students'comprehensive development and individual needs,is some of the considerations or approaches for enhancing the attractiveness of vocational education.
