Relationship between Industry and Education in Vocational Education from the Perspective of Social Network Theory:Problem Representation and Reconstruction of Relationship
It is of great value for promoting deep integration of vocational education and industry to investigate the internal relations of the industry and vocational education.Social network theory provides a new framework to analyze the internal relationship between industry and education.The structural hole drives the generation of the network of industry-education relationship in vocational education with skill transfer as the core,and the deepening of industry-education relationship is a process of transforming from weak relationship to strong relationship based on skill demand and maintaining a proper balance.The essence of industry-education interaction is a two-way transformation of industry-education resources from skill conversion to demand.The relationship between industry and vocational education presents a strong-weak relationship like ossification-imbalance-degeneration,the limited flow of resources in industry and education network caused by the weakening of the intermediary role of structural holes,and the coexistence of considerable social resources in vocational education and lack of high-quality skills social capital.In the future,the focus of the construction of industry-education relationship should be on strengthening weak relationships,expanding structural holes,and enhancing social capital,and innovate to build an effective synergistic carrier of industry-education integration with the interweaving of business relationship and geographical relationship,the complementary advantages of group pattern and differential pattern,information flow and resource sharing.
