Research on the Path of Information and Communication Technology Empowering the Equity of Adult Education in China:Based on the Thinking of UNESCO's Innovative Strategy for Technological Advancement in Education(2021-2025)
On March 12,2021,UNESCO adopted the Innovative Strategy for Technological Advancement in Education(2021-2025),which systematically plans for the application and innovation of information and communication technology(ICT)in the field of education over the next five years.From the text,the document first defines the global vision for technological innovation in the field of education,then highlights three core functions of UNESCO in the application and innovation of technologies in education,and accordingly designs three action areas.Finally,deployment strategies are made in terms of institutional setting,publicity,and financial support.In the new era where education development opens up new tracks through digitalization,it is necessary not only to guide teachers in grasping the basic principles of integrating ICT into specific teaching tasks and continuously improving their ability to apply ICT in adult education but also to systematically cultivate their awareness and ability of educational equity,so as to achieve homogeneous sharing of high-quality educational resources.Furthermore,technical assistance should be provided for online teaching for adults in remote areas in order to narrow the digital divide while improving the quality of adult education.
