The Policy Evolvement,Development Characteristics and Enlightenment of Technical and Vocational Undergraduate Education in Taiwan Region
Technical and vocational education plays an important role in the economic and social development of the Taiwan region,providing strong human resources support,among which undergraduate level occupies the main body.Since the mid-1990s,technical and vocational undergraduate education has experienced three important stages of rapid expansion,steady development and adjustment.Relevant departments of the Taiwan region have promoted a series of important policies and organized implementing of corresponding plans,which not only promote reform and development but also strive to correct errors.The mainland is in the critical period of constructing and perfecting the modern vocational education system and vigorously developing vocational education undergraduates,so we should fully learn from the development experience of technical and vocational undergraduate in the Taiwan region,deeply analyze their lessons and implement effective measures for risk prevention.Guided by economic and social needs,the development path and scale of vocational undergraduate education should be rationally planned;strengthen the type of vocational education and strengthen policies supplying for connotation development of vocational undergraduate education;improve the quality assurance system to supervise and evaluate the healthy development of vocational undergraduate education.
