Evaluation of Blended Instructional Effectiveness from the Perspective of Teachers and Students in Vocational Institutions
Teaching effectiveness evaluation is the key link to optimize the teaching strategies and improve the teaching quality.With the full implementation of the digital transformation of vocational education,the implementation of blended teaching has gradually become one of the main points of the digital transformation in vocational colleges.How does blended teaching play its teaching effectiveness in the field of vocational education?It is an issue that students,teachers,and school administrators pay high attention to.The questionnaire survey was adopted in this study,and teachers and students from five vocational colleges were selected to investigate the effectiveness of blended teaching.Several important findings were obtained.Students who have participated in blended teaching have higher evaluation value than those who have not.The blended teaching mode is more popular among the excellent students and the underachievers.There are differences between male and female teachers in terms of improving the level of blended teaching.There are differences between blended teaching and teachers'expectations in four aspects:enhancing the willingness to ask for help,enhancing the initiative to ask questions,promoting teaching reflection,and diversifying teaching methods.Based on the conclusion of the study,the optimization strategy for blended teaching in vocational colleges is put forward.
