From Challenge to Response:Experience and Reference of Teaching Quality Assurance in Japanese Vocational Colleges
Due to the dilemma of learning quality among college students in the 20th century,the education sector in Japan has begun to pay attention to the issue of teaching quality and actively promote reforms to ensure the quality of education and teaching.Based on their own development needs,Japanese vocational universities have developed three measures to ensure teaching quality.First,they have established a multi-party participation guarantee system that ensures both internal and external security.Second,they carry out precise monitoring of teaching quality information.Third,they empower intelligent analysis and feedback of teaching quality through technology.Analyzing the development process of teaching quality assurance in Japanese specialized vocational universities from challenges to responses has enlightening significance for the design and governance of teaching quality assurance system in vocational undergraduate education in China.The government should promote the reform of teaching quality governance from the top-level design level.The education department needs to ensure that the quality assurance operation mechanism does not deviate.Vocational undergraduate colleges should strengthen the internal value-added and external output coordination of teaching quality.Teachers should make good use of teacher-student interaction to promote the healthy operation of the teaching quality assurance system.
