The Relationship Between Servant Leadership and Craftsmanship:The Dual Mediating Role of Work Meaning and Work Impact
Servant leadership and psychological empowerment are concepts that have received much attention in modern organizational management and organizational behavior.The study aimed to establish a new theoretical model using the questionnaire method to explore the interrelationship between servant leadership,two dimensions of psychological empowerment(work meaning and work impact),and teachers'craftsmanship in vocational colleges and universities.It also examined the mechanism of how work meaning and work impact influence the relationship between servant leadership and craftsmanship.The results showed a significant positive correlation between servant leadership,the two dimensions of psychological empowerment(work meaning and work impact),and craftsmanship,and the validity of psychological empowerment as a mediator between servant leadership and craftsmanship was verified through quantitative analysis.The findings reveal that the two dimensions of psychological empowerment(work meaning and work impact)have parallel and multiple mediating effects between servant leadership and teacher craftsmanship in higher vocational colleges and universities.Additionally,enhancing leaders'sense of service and support for teachers'growth can influence psychological empowerment,which in turn strengthens teachers'craftsmanship.
