摘要
老年人通过参与科学教育,提升自身的科学素养,不仅有助于高品质生活的实现,也是积极应对人口老龄化,促进经济发展、增进社会和谐的需要.上海开放大学开展的万人规模的老年人科学素养与科学教育调查发现:老年人科学素养整体水平较高且受居住情况影响;参与科学教育可显著提升老年人的科学素养水平;老年人对科学教育的需求既存在共性也具有差异.结合当前老年科学教育面临的来自资源分布不均、师资能力不足、缺乏课程标准、硬件基础有待完善等困境,急需进一步围绕扩大并均衡资源供给、加强师资建设、完善课程体系、拓展教育空间等采取积极举措助力逆势突围.
Abstract
The elderly enhance their scientific literacy through participation in science education not only contribute to the realization of a high quality of life for the elderly,but are also necessary to respond positively to the ageing of the population,promote economic development and enhance social harmony.A large-scale survey conducted by Shanghai Open University involving thousands of seniors found that the overall scientific literacy level among the elderly is relatively high and influenced by living conditions.Additionally,participation in science education significantly improves their scientific literacy,revealing both commonalities and differences in their educational needs.In the light of the current dilemmas faced by science education for the elderly,such as uneven distribution of resources,insufficient teacher capacity,lack of curriculum standards,and the need to improve the hardware foundation,there is an urgent need to take further positive steps.These steps include expanding and equalizing the supply of resources,strengthening teacher training,improving the curriculum system,and expanding the space for education.
