Over the seventy-five years since the founding of New China,the country's adult education,vocational education,and continuing education have undergone a significant journey from restoration and reconstruction to institutional improvement. As continuing education gradually replaces adult education and vocational education steadily establishes its position as a distinct type,these transformations have drawn a new blueprint for China's education system. It has initiated the construction of a new educational atlas centered on the collaborative innovation among vocational education,higher education,and continuing education. The construction of this new educational atlas holds great significance for highlighting the important status of vocational education and continuing education,promoting the development of an education system that meets people's diverse needs,and forming a talent cultivation mechanism that balances distinctive characteristics with collaborative innovation. To construct China's new educational atlas in the new era,focus should be placed on three key measures:deepening the reform of examination and enrollment systems,advancing the construction of the national qualifications framework,and improving the continuing education system. These efforts will support Chinese modernization through building a strong education system.
