Policy on Labor Education in Vocational Colleges since the Founding of New China:Changes,Logic and Enlightenment
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,there have been four policies for labor education in our country's vocational colleges and universities:production labor education,labor education in specialized fields,education in practical skills,and education in labor literacy. These policies have followed the logic of change from labor methods to labor thinking,from labor skills to labor literacy,from school dominance to multi-party collaboration,and from serving industrial and agricultural production to promoting the building of a manufacturing powerhouse. Learning from history,in the new period,we need to deepen investigation and research,strengthening the leading role of labor education policies. Then,it requires to return to the essence of education,scientifically positioning the goals of labor education. What's more,it needs to adapt to the times,and update the content of labor education in a timely manner. Finally,we must adhere to the principle of all-round development,expanding the ways of implementing labor education,and continuously improving the quality of policy formulation and implementation of labor education in vocational colleges and universities.
