Building Innovative Teams for Vocational Education Teachers under the Duality Theory:Theoretical Research,Operational Mechanisms, and Prudent Considerations
Teachers are the key entities in implementing the new mission of vocational education, and the construction of high-level and structured teacher innovation teams is an important lever for teacher reform. By sorting out relevant policy texts, this research is to clarify the connotation and construction goals of teacher innovation teams as an innovative process to achieve the three major functions of vocational education. Based on the duality theory of team innovation, the innovation process is decomposed into two stages:exploration and utilization. A structured teacher innovation team operation model for vocational colleges is constructed, and the team building process is analyzed from three aspects:construction concept, formation principles, and operation mechanism. Furthermore,it is concluded that the formation of innovative teams should have relative stability and can be fine-tuned based on teaching objectives, rather than being randomly selected and combined. For the subjective initiative of innovation,a directed innovation process should be achieved through innovative exploration and flexible management, focusing on the integrity of the innovation process. At the same time, understanding the teacher teaching innovation team as a dual-qualification teachers community, the teaching process shifts from individual to team implementation. This can be achieved by combining theoretical teachers, skilled teachers,high-tech talents from enterprises, and high-skilled talents from enterprises to strengthen team advantages and achieve the effect of one plus one is greater than two. The dual-qualification teachers structure can be used to compensate for the insufficient number and ability of dual teacher quality teachers.
