The Influence of Design Thinking Traits on Vocational College Students' Creativity:Intrinsic Motivation as Mediator and Self-Efficacy as Moderator
To investigate the mechanism by which design thinking traits affect the creativity of vocational education students,a questionnaire survey was conducted with 299 students from vocational colleges. Utilizing SPSS 26.0 for statistical analysis, this study focuses on the mediating role of intrinsic motivation and the moderating role of self-efficacy. The results reveal that design thinking attributes substantially enhance creativity;intrinsic motivation partially mediates the relationship between these attributes and creativity;and self-efficacy strengthens the link between design thinking and intrinsic motivation. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of design thinking's role in fostering innovation and provides strategies for developing vocational students' innovative skills. The study suggests that vocational education should prioritize nurturing design thinking, encouraging intrinsic motivation, and leveraging self-efficacy to amplify the positive effects of design thinking on innovation capabilities.
