Introduction of 8 improved cultivars of 2-year Camellia oleifera seedling in 2009 in Jingning, Zhejiang province. Comparisons were conducted on increment of seedlings during 2 years under different site conditions. The result demonstrated that growth of the current year of seedling at different altitude had no evident difference, but that of the second year had significant difference of ground diameter and height. There were no evident differences of height and ground diameter growth of seedling between at medium and low altitude, but evident with that at high altitude. Aspect had great effect on growth of seedlings. The growth of seedlings on south slope was better than that on east and north one. Slope site had evident effect on seedling height growth. The experiment resulted that plantation of C. oleifera was recommended on east or south medium or low slope below altitude of 600m.
