Crop germplasm resources are strategic resources for ensuring national food security.The quantity,quality,as well as the depth and breadth of identification and exploration directly influence the sustainability of national food security.This article provided an overview of the current situation of preservation,identification and utilization of major crop germplasm resources in China,analyzed the problems existing in the protection of crop germplasm resources,and proposed relevant strategies and suggestions,in order to provide references for scientific and technological workers involved in the protection of crop germplasm resources.
