Breeding and Application of New Two-line Hybrid Rice Combination Xinhunyou 6 Suitable for Mechanized Mixed-sowing Seed Production
The high cost of hybrid rice seed production has become the bottleneck of the development and promotion of hybrid rice.The cost of hybrid rice seed production can be reduced effectively by realizing the mechanization of hybrid rice seed production through mixed sowing.Xinhunyou 6 is a new hybrid rice combination suitable for mechanized mixed-sowing seed production.The female parent is Xin'an S with brown glume marker gene and the male parent is 2E06 with bentazon sensitive gene.The combination simplifies the procedure of hybrid seed production,saves the cost and increases the benefit of seed production.This paper introduced the breeding process,characteristics and key technical points of high-yielding cultivation and mechanized mixed-sowing hybrid seed production of Xinhunyou 6.
