香软型优质水稻不育系万太A的选育及应用

万太A是广西农业科学院水稻研究所利用珍汕97B与优质香型常规稻品种早香一号选杂交F1为母本,以协青早B与博B杂交F1为父本进行杂交(珍汕97B/早香一号选//协青早B/博B),后代经多年定向选择优良单株制保后,再与珍汕97A回交转育育成的香软型优质三系不育系,2020年4月通过广西壮族自治区农作物品种审定委员会组织的技术鉴定.万太A不育特性稳定、异交性好、易繁易制,配组组合稻米香味浓郁、口感软糯、外观商品性好.目前已选育万太优3158、万太优美占、万太优588、万太优682和万太优965等5个杂交组合通过品种审定.
Abstract
Wantai A is a high-quality aromatic soft rice CMS line developed by the Rice Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences using the F,of Zhenshan 97B and high-quality aromatic conventional rice variety Zaoxiangyihaoxuan as the female to cross with the F1 of Xieqingzao B and Bo B and choose excellent single maintainer plants after years of directional selection to make testcross with Zhenshan 97A followed by successive backcrosses.In April 2020,it was technically identified by Guangxi Crop Variety Appraisal Committee.Wantai A has stable male sterility and good outcrossing rate,and it is easy for multiplication and hybrid seed production.Its F1 hybrids have deep aroma,soft and glutinous taste of cooked rice,and good rice commodity appearance.At present,five hybrid combinations,including Wantaiyou 3158,Wantaiyou Meizhan,Wantaiyou 588,Wantaiyou 682 and Wantaiyou 965,have been developed and passed the variety approval.
