Breeding and Application of Rice Restorer Line Luhui 1611 with High Quality and Blast Resistance
Luhui 1611 is an indica rice restorer line with high quality and resistance to rice blast developed by the Rice and Sorghum Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences(Deyang Branch of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences)by crossing the breeding material Kang 18 with Luhui 5240 through the selection combined traditional breeding methods with the molecular marker assisted selection technology.Derived from the restorer line,the high-quality hybrid combinations such as Yiyou 1611,Yulongyou 1611,Chuanyou 1611,Shenyou 9611 and Chuanyou 8611 have been developed and approved for commercial production by the national or Sichuan provincial crop variety appraisal committee.
