761S是用Y58S作母本、陆两优996作父本进行杂交,后代不育材料利用人工低温冷灌和海南自然低温对育性进行筛选,经4a8代的定向选择培育而成的光温敏核不育系.该不育系具有农艺性状优良、不育起点温度低、柱头外露率高、异交性好、繁殖产量高及米质优等特性.2023年8月761S及所配组合谷两优99(761S/R2099)均通过湖北省农作物品种审定委员会审定.
Breeding and Application of PTGMS Line 761S in Rice
761S,derived from the cross of Y58S(as female parent)and Luliangyou 996(as male parent),is a photoperiod-thermo-sensitive genic male sterile(PTGMS)line in rice developed by directional selection in male sterility under the natural low temperature conditions in Hainan or with the treatments of artificial low temperature water irrigation over eight generations of four years.It is characteristic of desirable agronomic characters,low critical sterility-inducing temperature,high outcrossing rate,high seed yield in multiplication,and fine grain quality.In August 2023,761S and its hybrid combination Guliangyou 99(761S/R2099)were both approved by Hubei Crop Variety Appraisal Committee.
