High-yielding Seed Production Techniques of Two-line Hybrid Rice Combination Yunliangyou 332 in Hainan
Yunliangyou 332 is a new two-line hybrid rice combination developed from cross of the photoperiod-thermo-sensitive genic male sterile(PTGMS)line Yun 2013S and the restorer line W332.It was registered and released for commercial production by Hunan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2018,by the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2019,and by the Crop Variety Appraisal Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2020.It is suitable for cultivation as medium rice in Yangtze River Valley,and as early,medium,late rice in South China.The characteristics of the parents of Yunliangyou 332 and its high-yielding seed production techniques were summarized based on years of seed production practice in Hainan Province.
