Zhejingyou 1578 is an indica-japonica hybrid rice combination developed by Zhejiang Wuwangnong Seed Industry Co.,Ltd.and the Institute of Crop and Nuclear Technology Utilization of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences,using a japonica male sterile line Zhejing 7A and a restorer line Zhenonghui 6022.With good yield potential,strong comprehensive resistance and wide adaptability,it was approved by Zhejiang Provincial and the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2017 and 2019,respectively.It is suitable for single season late rice planting along the river in Zhejiang Province,Shanghai,southern Jiangsu Province,Anhui Province and Hubei Province.According to the field seed production practice of this combination at Fengxian District of Shanghai in recent years,the high-yielding seed production techniques of this combination were summarized.
