General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the 19th CPC National Congress report that Chi-na's economy had shifted from a high peed growth stage to a high quality development stage in the new era,and formally put forward the concept of high quality development.Based on the existing documents and relevant speeches,this paper sorts out the development of General Secretary Xi Jinping's high quality development concept and summarizes its main content.On this basis,it further explores the great value of his high quality development concept in the era,finding that in theory,it is not only the latest achievement of socialist theory with Chinese characteristics and contemporary Marxism,but also the innovation and de-velopment of Marxist development concept;in practice,it provides overall guidance for the current and fu-ture development of economy and social and society in all aspects of China,so that there is a clear direction and goal for the economic and social development in the new era and a focus and a path for transformation and upgrading,which provides a great practical support for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
