Common prosperity is both an important feature of Chinese style modernization and the es-sential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics.However,nowadays there are still some mis-understandings and even mistakes in the knowledge of common prosperity among people.It is urgent to understand what common prosperity is,why common prosperity is brought out and how to realize com-mon prosperity in the process of pushing forward common prosperity in the new era.The article gives a rel-atively clear answer to how to understand common prosperity in the new era from three aspects:the basic connotation of common prosperity,the important mission of the Communist Party of China to achieve common prosperity,and the realization of common prosperity through hard work and mutual help.
