The Interaction and Implications of Youth Diaspora and American Diplomacy
With the help of new technologies,there are more ways for youth diaspora to interact and communicate across borders.Based on the analysis of the reconstruction of the modern youth diaspora by transnational networks,this paper tries to sort out the ways of the interaction between youth diaspora and American diplomacy.It is found that these ways mainly manifest themselves in the information exchange between youth diaspora and American public diplomacy,the interest coordination between youth diaspora and American political actors,and the sharing diplomatic resources between youth diaspora and American diplomatic resources.On this basis,the United States tried to integrate youth diaspora into American for-eign policy system through the new mechanism of transnational public-private partnership,making youth diaspora an important source of American power resources.
