In the contemporary Chinese academic circles,there has been a certain deviation and break between theoretical knowledge and literary practice.There is only theory but no literature,resulting in a crisis of alienation in the contemporary Chinese literary theory.The key to eliminating the crisis is to re-turn to the real place in which the theory lies and to open up the experience of literature.The perception and concreteness of literature rise to the intellectuality and abstraction of theory,and then descend from theory to the rich regulations of literature.Consequently,the theory and the literature reach a new unity in the process of ascending and descending.Introverted Chinese and Western theories of literature show a trend from integration to differentiation.The China's construction of literature about the weak and small can close the wide gap between literary practice and theoretical knowledge,which is an important way to abandon alienation.
