From Utilitarianism to Lifeism:Reflection and Reconstruction of the Theoretical System of Vocational Education in China in the Digital Age
The theoretical system of modern vocational education in China is an efficiency oriented vocational education discourse system constructed based on material logic in the traditional industrial era.Efficiency oriented vocational education emphasizes"training workers in skills to improve work efficiency",which largely meets the mass demand for skilled talents in the rapid development of the manufacturing economy.However,this theoretical system can no longer interpret the new quality productivity needs of the digital age.In China,the new qualitative productive forces,which represent the transformation of productive forces in the digital age,urgently require the reconstruction of a new theoretical discourse system of lifeism in Chinese vocational education.To reconstruct the theoretical system of China's vocational education,it is necessary to change the mode of thinking and discourse system based on humanistic logic,and also start from the soil of Chinese culture.This is what vocational education reform means to empower Chinese path to modernization.
