A Qualitative Study on the Realistic Dimension and Action Path of Student Management in Vocational Colleges
The newly promulgated Vocational Education Law of the People's Republic of China has pointed out the direction and provided legal protection for the modern vocational education governance system and student management work.Using qualitative research methods,this study focuses on the practical dimensions of student management in 50 vocational colleges,focusing on value orientation,specific connotations,and safeguard measures.The study found that the student management work of each college has its own characteristics,but also has a relative consistency:in the value orientation,it aims to cultivate new people of the times,adheres to the fundamental direction of the CPC,and adheres to the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people;in terms of connotation construction,guided by high-quality development,continuously enriching specific connotations such as humanistic literacy,professional competence,career development,and daily management;in terms of security measures,with comprehensive support as the logic,continuously improve the organization,system,team,and funding guarantee system.Facing the future,to improve the modernization of management and governance system and governance capability of vocational college students,we should follow Chinese path to modernization,and focus on type characteristics and strengthen the specialization of policies and systems;focus on collaborative education and promote diversification of participants;focus on theoretical research and promote the integration of theory and practice;focus on digital governance and modernize governance capabilities.
