Institutionalized Solution of Matching Regional Manpower Demand and Education Supply——Taking the Manpower Resources Survey System of VTC of Hong Kong as an Example
In order to make the education supply effectively respond to the industrial development and the dynamic change of talent demand,Hong Kong Vocational Training Council has established a set of systematic manpower demand survey and forecast system. The manpower survey is the main responsibility of the Training Board of var-ious industries of VTC. It is responsible for the manpower survey and manpower updated work in a cycle for four years. It analyzes the cyclical and dynamic and continuous changes of manpower demand of 24 major industries,and provides the basis for the Hong Kong SAR government and education departments to make planning. The systematic top-level design,efficient working mechanism and scientific investigation paradigm all have important enlightenment functions,and provide an institutionalized solution for the regional industry and education consor-tium to match the regional manpower demand and education supply.
