Textual Research on Zhou Zhibiao's Gender,Friendship and Works of Writing and Publishing
Zhou Zhibiao was a dramatist and publisher,active in the field of popular literature.Zhou Zhibiao was un-doubtedly a male,whose friends were mostly celebrities in Jiangnan,and his status as a literati was approved by the local gentry.Sai Zheng Ge Ji can not be judged as Zhou Zhibiao's collection,while Wu Ji Bai Mei can be judged as his collection.Zhou Zhibiao's works of writing and publishing began in the late Wanli reign of Ming Dynasty and en-ded in the middle Shunzhi reign of Qing Dynasty,creating a certain impact on the literati community in Jiangnan.
