Research on the Life Experience of Hu Shizhan,the Author of Chuanqi Hou Yi Peng Xue in Qing Dynasty
The author of Chuanqi Hou Yi Peng Xue in Qing Dynasty was poor in his early years,and then entered the Shandong governor Li Shude's office.After Li Shude was convicted of the crime,he still did not leave him,and as-sisted Li Shude's son with his heart and soul,and eventually died of illness.The year of his death was before the fourteenth year of the Qianlong reign(1749).When Hu Shizhan was in Shandong,he became friends with Gao Feng-han from Jiaozhou,Zhu Chongxun from Licheng,and Tian Tongzhi from Dezhou.The time of his creation of Hou Yi Peng Xue was during the period when Li Shude served as the governor of Shandong,i.e.between August of the fifty-fifth year of the Kangxi reign(1716)and October of the sixty-first year of the Kangxi reign(1722).
