On the National Consciousness of Domestic Film Critics (1945—1949)
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan,the film reviews of domestic films gradually sepa-rated from the retelling of the film's story content,the evaluation of the actors'acting skills and the evaluation of the directors'skills after experiencing the initial chaos.While reviewing the shortcomings of domestic films with the help of the photography techniques and artistic concepts of western films,they paid more attention to the exploration con-sciousness of domestic films in showing the national character.This kind of film reviews played an important role in emphasizing the presentation of social realities,paying attention to the reasonableness and rationality of the film's in-ternal narrative logic,and guiding film directors to correct their attitudes from the perspective of"the future of the whole domestic film",which reflected the self-awareness of domestic film reviews after the war.
