Research on the Current State of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Protection Strategies—Based on Survey Data from 118 Inheritors in Zhejiang Province
Intangible cultural heritage depends on its inheritors for continuity and development;hence, safeguarding inheritors is as crucial as preserving the heritage itself.Currently, the inheritance process has had three problems:the lack of successors for some heritage projects, which is causing a severe crisis in transmission;the unclear economic value of heritage projects, which results in a shortage of preservation funding;and the government's unsatisfactory effectiveness in solving practical challenges despite attaching the importance of intangible cultural heritage. Thus,a collaborative effort from inheritors, the government, universities, media, enterprise, and volunteers is needed to o-vercome challenges:first, establishing a reserve system to cultivate a new generation of inheritors;secondly, creating a diversified investment mechanism to support dynamic heritage preservation;thirdly, constructing a multi-dimen-sional protection system to enhance the effectiveness of conservation.
