Investigation on the knowledge-attitude-practice status of TCM nursing of nurses in general hospital and its influencing factors
Objective To investigate the knowledge-attitude-practice status of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing of nurses in general hospital and analyze its influencing factors.Methods A total of 92 nurses in Quzhou People's Hospital in Zhejiang Province were selected as investigation objects,whose general data were collected.The knowledge-attitude-practice status of TCM nursing and needs of TCM nursing training was investigated,and the influencing factors were analyzed.Results The total score of knowledge-attitude-practice status of TCM nursing was 36.68±7.65,and the scores of TCM nursing knowledge,TCM nursing attitude and TCM nursing practice were 15.41±3.55,11.65±3.06 and 9.62±2.30,respectively.Logistic regression analysis showed that age,professional title,work time,work department and TCM nursing training were the main factors affecting nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice of TCM nursing(all P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between educational background and knowledge-attitude-practice level of TCM nursing(P>0.05).The needs rates of nurses training for TCM theoretical basis,dialectical nursing principle,TCM skill and TCM nursing service etiquette were 95.7%(88/92),98.9%(91/92),100.0%(92/92),75.0%(69/92),respectively.Conclusions Nurses in general hospitals have a relatively low level of knowledge-attitude-practice of TCM nursing,and a high needs for TCM nursing training,and training on TCM nursing related knowledge should be strengthened to improve their cognition level,and increase clinical practice opportunities.
