Objective To explore the influence of nursing mode based on harmonious nursing theory on depression emotion and self-efficacy of patients with depression. Methods A total of 180 patients with depression in Department of Psychiatry,Lishui Second People's Hospital in Zhejiang Province from April 2018 to May 2021 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 90 patients in each group. The patients in the experimental group used the nursing mode based on the harmonious nursing theory, while the patients in the control group used the traditional conventional nursing mode for depression, with continuous intervention for 20 days. Before and after intervention,Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD-17)was used to assess the depression of the two groups of patients, and general self efficacy scale(GSES)was used to assess the self-efficacy of the two groups of patients. The differences of depression,self-efficacy,medication compliance and nursing satisfaction between the two groups before and after the intervention were analyzed and compared. Results Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in HAMD-17 and GSES scores between the two groups(all P>0.05);after the intervention,HAMD-17 scores of patients in both groups decreased, and GSES scores of patients in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group;GSES scores of patients in both groups increased, and GSES scores of patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total compliance rate of patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of patients in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The scores of timeliness of nursing and cooperation between doctors and nurses in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusions The nursing mode based on the harmonious nursing theory can significantly improve the depression emotion and self-efficacy of patients with depression, and improve their compliance with medication as well as nursing satisfaction.
