Particle Simulation of Rectangular Waveguide Loaded Two-Gap Output Cavity
Three-dimensional PIC software is used to design and optimize the S-band rectangular waveguide loaded output cavity. 1. 45 MW output power at center frequency of 2. 9 GHz and 12% 3 dB bandwidth is achieved which was driven by 80 kV and 45 A electron beam. The experiment shows that the test results are consistent with the theoretical simulation.
